Carlos Eliel Rebollar, Lead Pastor

Carlos was born in Miguel Aleman, Tamps, Mexico, a border town connected to Roma, TX, but he's called Houston home since the age of 3 and considers himself a Houstonian through and through. He met his wife, Chelsea, because of their shared love for East End Houston. They have been happily married since November 7th, 2015. Carlos was part of the core team that planted the original Sojourn Community Church (now Sojourn Heights) which began meeting in 2009. He has been a full-time church planting resident with Sojourn Houston since 2015. He's also an HCPN Finishing Residency Alumni. He completed this 1-year HCPN residency in August 2018. He has been commissioned to plant this church by the Pastoral Directors of HCPN and has been ordained into the pastorate after a period of observation and through the laying on of the hands by Sojourn Houston (particularly the elders of Sojourn Montrose).

As the founding church planter/pastor of Sojourn East End, Carlos has also been commissioned by Sojourn Houston to lead out in all capacities in the planting of Sojourn East End with a committed church planting team of fellow East End residents.
